Over the last couple of years, I've been experimenting with posting quotes on websites with spiritual themes. Usually one or two quotes that resonate with the list purpose, with a link to the Foundation's text embedded. There have been several replies from various lists during this time.


Below's one that came in recently. I wrote this member back and answered questions best I could. But mostly referred to the text. The list member wrote in part:

...I have been reading your messages and I am very interested in learning more about the "Urantia Book."


Could you please enlighten me a bit? I would guess there is some type of religious views (denomination) associated with the book, Rick. Please expand on my theory, if you have the time and so choose.

I am a lifetime student of religion. Currently Buddhism and Taoism has peaked my interests.. actually for about 8-10 years now...


I do enjoy the messages you send and find them all to be true and valuable to me.

i enjoy the quotes that u send. is their a group that i can actually go
to and chat about the goodness of god and how he shares his love.
irregardless what a person religion is to me as long as u believe and
faithful in his word. but however the bible says that no man can go to
the father wothout going through his son. so i give thanks and
especially am thankful to still have life and breath in me.... have a

I like what you say. We must focus on the Almighty and I also want to make a point that
people must be made to understand that since there is only one God, His religions are one.
the Great Covenant says that God will never leave man alone and so fulfill this covenant,
He sends His Messengers time to time. In the past, God send Abraham, Moses, Jesus Christ,
Krishna, Buddha, Zoroaster, Muhammad, and for this time the Bab and Baha'u'llah.

Every age has a Messenger and they bring teachings for that age. The teaching for today which
Baha'u'llah brings is Unity of God, Unity of Religions and Unity of mankind.

Not sure which of the half dozen websites this person was reading that the daily UB quotes on truth, beauty and goodness go out to. Unfortunately there was no reply to my answers, and no answers to my questions about where they were read.

The person wrote:
