Inauguration of the Urantia Association of the Dominican Republic

It is with pleasure that I bring this good news to you; a new association is now part of IUA.  On Sunday the 24th of April, the Urantia Association of the Dominican Republic was licensed in the presence of Gary Rawlings, Chair of membership Committee, Cathy Jones, Executive administrator and myself.

The new board of director was chosen and the nominees are:

Secretary - Yudelka Disla - Yudelkadislat13@yahoo.com
Treasurer - Celandra Dominguez (Julio's wife) - same as Julio's e-mail

It is in the presence of many members, family, friends and with the help of Hilvania Adam a member in the US that this event took place.

We found the peoples of the Dominican Republic very warm, sincere, friendly and hospitable.  They already have many years ago, taken upon themselves the responsibility for the dissemination of the teaching of the UB, this licensing was only a natural consequence of their actions.  I am pretty sure that they will soon become a National association and will be instrumental in the growing success of the UB in the Caribbean Islands.
