The Urantia Book Presented in Germany

Since The Urantia Book has been published in German, much has happened.
In October 2006, a group of people presented The Urantia Book on the “Frankfurter Buchmesse,” the biggest book fair of the German speaking area. Among them was Mr. Urs Ruchti who has been responsible for the translation which took 13 years, Mr. Werner Sutter and Mrs. Irmeli Ivalo-Sjölie, the “good spirits” of the whole project, Mr. Jay W. Peregrine from the Urantia Foundation in Chicago, René Hagenaars from Urantia Europe B.V., Michael MacIsaac from the UB Youth, and others.
In the meantime there is also the first German study group which was founded in Frankfurt, as well as a German speaking newsgroup in the internet:

And there was a very nice article about the UB in the German “Connection,” a spiritual magazine.
The next steps will be a German speaking website to promote The Urantia Book more intensively in Switzerland and Austria. It is also planned to present it at the AURA in Basel in November 2007, one of the biggest spiritual fairs in Switzerland.
