Mind Body Spirit Festival in Manchester, England

Having recently returned from the Mind Body Spirit Festival in Manchester that took place on the Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of October that was from 10 am to 6 pm daily, where between 9 to10,000 mortals visited the various exhibitors including stand No 20 where the Urantia Association of the United Kingdom & Ireland was located and manned for these two days by the following members that reside in the United Kingdom: Gary Rawlings (Wales) Costas Diamantopoulos (Greece) Gavin Dormand (England) Roberto Lara (Ecuador) and Max Fairclough (USA) who all worked both in harmony and as a team, where the following results were achieved. Over the period of two days 27 Urantia Books of leather, hard, and soft backs types, with also 1 Thought Gem were sold. We received 150 mortals who visited us seeking information on the Urantia Book and its teachings and are now aware through our various stand members what the book is all about and answering their numerous questions.   We gave out over 200 contact cards and 400 leaflets including the description, excerpts, study groups, and A Universal Perspective that was prepared by Gavin who also took a number of digital photographs for the IUA web site. We received a number of overseas visitors from the - USA - Italy - Spain - Japan - Nigeria - Pakistan - China - Kenya - Brazil - that represented various religious followings. We had several mortals that just came to the stand confirming they had out of the body experiences and were attracted by the pictures we had of the Grand Universe which were placed around the stand commissioned by the unique Gary Tonge, these then bought the book having travelled to this place, including one mortal who when I enquired where he was originally from, who then replied please do not ask, and could I buy the book from you. May I take the opportunity in thanking both the Sponsor and all the above team who both sacrificed their weekend and paid all their own expenses all for the book that we both love and cherish, a very special thank you for Chris & Tina Moseley who could not be there but were with us in spirit, and last but not least Janet Falbo for introducing me to the Necklace of Light to which I wore throughout the festival that attracted a number of mortals to our stand.
