Urantia Association of the United Kingdom-Ireland formed

On October 12, 2003 we added another local association to our growing IUA family.

Urantia Book readers from England, Wales, Greece. Australia, Canada, Finland, Mexico and the United States met at The Union Jack Club in London for the purpose of formally beginning a personal religion-fraternal organization for disseminating the teachings of The Urantia Book.

Two members of this diverse group already have a successful prison book project started. Books are being placed in libraries, several study groups are regularly meeting, assisting at book fairs is being planned. You might say this is an "action" group, ready to go into high gear.

Trustee, Seppo Kanerva, IUA president, Gaetan Charland and IUA executive administrator, Cathy Jones traveled to England to assist this group in launching their new association. The HULA association provided monetary assistance in this effort.
